Neighbors together

Community Guidelines

Nabo is a place to know the people nearby, share everyday life, and help each other. These rules protect the trust that makes a local community useful and welcoming.

Effective October 8, 2026

Be neighborly

Lead with respect, patience, and care.

Be real

Use your own identity and share honest information.

Protect privacy

Keep personal and financial information safe.

Connect by choice

Respect boundaries, blocks, and a clear no.

Use a real account

Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, evade restrictions, or misrepresent verification status.

Treat neighbors with respect

Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, sexual harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and encouragement of violence are prohibited.

Post honestly and locally

Describe events, recommendations, requests, and errands clearly. Do not post scams, misleading offers, manipulated ratings, or repetitive promotions.

Respect privacy and boundaries

Do not publish someone’s private information without permission or pressure anyone to connect, meet, respond, or continue a conversation.

Keep messages useful

Do not send spam, unwanted sexual content, threats, payment scams, or repeated messages after someone asks you to stop.

Handle errands responsibly

Only request lawful work that can be completed safely. Agree on the task and price before work begins and use Nabo’s payment and dispute process.

Protect payments and accounts

Never ask for passwords, verification codes, bank logins, or government IDs. Do not pressure a neighbor to move a secured errand payment outside Nabo.

Report problems in good faith

Use block and report tools when something feels wrong. Reports must be truthful and should include useful details.

Immediate safety

If someone is in immediate danger, stop the interaction, move to a safe place, and contact local emergency services. Then block and report the account in Nabo. Nabo is not an emergency-response service.

Nabo may remove content, limit features, restrict accounts, pause an errand payment, issue a refund or release payment after review. If you believe a decision was made in error, contact the Nabo Support Center.
